We were recently contacted by representatives of the Malachi's Journey team who were looking for donations for their forthcoming charity auction. We were so touched by Malachi's story so decided to send along one of boxes to help them get a little closer to sending him on his dream holiday experience.
The auctions will be held on 28th September 2014 at a family FUNDAY at Totstars academy in Croydon CR0 1RG from 12-4pm
A little about Malachi -
Malachi is an 8 year old boy from Tunbridge Wells, born with the genetic condition Neurofibromatosis. The condition causes tumours to grow all over the body, and at 15 months Malachi was diagnosed with an inoperable tumour on his optic nerves which, despite 18 months of intensive weekly chemotherapy, caused Malachi to lose his sight completely and become registered blind before his second birthday.
The journey team are currently hoping to raise money for Malachi to go to Florida to have sensory therapy with dolphins.
