Seeing the love on the faces of the siblings as they gaze upon their new sibling is a beautiful moment that you’re going to remember for the rest of your life.
If you’re going to be adding siblings to the photoshoot, then it would be a cute idea to put them in matching outfits. You can get some autumn coloured clothes, perhaps with some kind of writing on the front to give it that little something extra.

2. Pumpkins Are Always Adorable
The first thing that you think of in autumn is probably going to be pumpkins. They are one of the most popular parts about the season, and if you want to go for something that is super autumn themed then dressing your little baby up as a pumpkin is one of the ways to go. Or, if you don’t want to have your baby wearing an outfit for their first photoshoot, then you can arrange some pumpkins (carved or uncarved) around them for effect.
We have seen some people who have gotten a bum print of their little one when they were born in September or October and had ‘bumpkin’ written on the mold which was super cute! This can then be included in the photos for something adorable (and potentially embarrassing) for them to look at when they are older.
3. Leaves All Around
Orange and brown leaves are another common thought when autumn is brought up, so have you considered adding some of these to your newborn photoshoot? All you need to do is head outside and get some from the ground, wash them inside just to make sure they’re not carrying any germs, and spread them around your baby. It gives a fantastic autumn theme without much stress.
4. Stick With Autumn Colours
If you don’t want to do anything too big or grand, you could simply stick with autumn colours. Oranges, browns and colours that are similar to this are all considered autumn colours, so they would make a fantastic choice for a newborn shoot. You can do this by either having things in the background that are this colour, or you can simply dress your little one accordingly. It’s a simple idea, but sometimes the simple ones are the best!

5. Can’t Go Wrong With Balloons
You can never go wrong with balloons, and even though it’s not specifically an autumn idea, you can make it one. You can get special balloons in the right colours, or even get some that say ‘hello baby’ or further personalised online. Another simple idea, but one that will make for a super beautiful shoot that you can do yourself.
5. Halloween
The final thing that we’re going to say is that you could go for a Halloween theme if your little one is born before or on the big day. There are plenty of ways to do this such as with Halloween decorations, little outfits that were made specifically for spooky season and so much more. You can even get a letter board with ‘the sweetest Halloween treat’ or something similar written on it to keep with the theme.
